APAT have released initial details that the UK Team Championship will take place over the weekend of Fri 11th Feb at Dusk Till Dawn for recognised poker groups, societies etc.

This is an 8-person team event and will have 35 teams compete for the title, but as the event is always over-subscribed, teams have to go through an official application process and be selected to take part.

LPPL will be apply for a TEAM LPPL spot - and any players who would like to play for TEAM LPPL then please let me know by either commenting on here, or sending me a PM via https://lpplleaguepoker.com/usercontact?id=10000

Obviously TEAM LPPL have to be given a team spot, which we will know sometime between Christmas and New Year, and if successful, TEAM LPPL players may use a 3* / Weekend package with shared hotel for Fri and Sat nights, entry to the UK Team Championship and TEAM LPPL shirt.

For those that miss out on the selection is there another way they can get to play the event. Maybe become a member of APAT?

We hope you'll join us in wishing Team LPPL the very best of luck over the weekend of Fri 11th Feb at DTD as they compete alongside 34 other teams to be crowned UK Champions.

For all members who are not part of the team, there are numerous side events throughout the weekend which you are able to play, as follows:

Fri 11 Feb 7pm Bounty Hunter £25+£25+£10 (cap 252)
Sat 12 Feb 7pm NLHE £50+£10 (cap 108 )
Sun 13 Feb 5pm NLHE £50+£10 (cap 135)

And the NFL Super Bowl is being shown live in DTD from 11:30pm on Sunday night, with a late bar - and we're arranging an LPPL social get-together for that smile

For those who wish to attend and play a side event, we'll provide some opportunities to use prize packages for the Sat and/or Sun night with entry to the event and shared overnight hotel accommodation and a Team LPPL shirt to wear at DTD - and a free first drink if you're at the DTD bar at 11:30pm on Sunday night with your Team LPPL shirt on smile
