FIRST AND FOREMOST - thank you all, from all of us - the turnout for the first event of the FOPP was incredible, and so much so with 118 PAIRS that we had to reduce the clock to ensure it didn't go into the very early hours - finished before 1am and with plenty of play I'll take that as a win win for us all 
SECONDLY, huge congrats to all our players IN THE MONEY, especially the final 3 - Richard Clarke taking 3rd, Gary Dawson 2nd and taking down the event Robbie Nixon - was a great battle on the Final Table but especially from 3-handed onward.

But, last but not least, what an amazing finish to the event as we crown our PAIRS CHAMPIONS - AND IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN CLOSER!
With 2 teams finishing on the exact same points:
Julie Nixon 12th and John Nixon 24th = 36 pts
Di Kerr 27th and Mark Kerr 9th = 36 pts
So, with Mark Kerr being the highest placed player, we crown our PAIRS CHAMPIONS DI AND MARK KERR - great play with a great result, but also to Julie and John - so unlucky to be pipped so close to the post, but very well played
Until tomorrow night - Heads Up starts at 8pm NO LATE REG, and we kick off the PLO at 9pm - and we'll be livestreaming from 10pm with myself, Angie and Mark being joined by the chuckle brothers Si Manning and Shane Pollington
