|Whilst I have received a few 'unofficial queries' about possible soft play / collusion within LPPL games on Party Poker since we started in Apr 2020, some I have contacted players about, others we just continue to 'monitor' and it is therefore timely to remind players of the following:

Under no circumstances is collusion or soft play allowed - if we have to involve Party Poker to investigate any 'queries' sent to us from players, then Party Poker will 100% investigate those queries and if anyone is found to be contravening Party Poker Terms and Conditions then without fail, those players will be banned from Party Poker - and probably have any funds in their account seized - and there will be absolutely nothing LPPL can do for them.

I suspect, if any collusion or soft play were to happen, then it would be in a game like our 'Pairs' games where 2-player teams are competing for a team prize, however, this may not be the only instances and some players could in fact collude or soft play against other players, friends, to help them win more league points for the Finals.

PLEASE DON'T DO IT - it's a game of poker!

For your information - soft play can include patterns of play, or instances where it is not acceptable, to Party Poker, to see players put in large raises and then only to see them fold when another player goes all in FOR VERY LITTLE MORE CHIPS - eg, player 1 raise to 10,000, player 2 go all in for 10,100 chips and player 1 folds - or the raise could be to 20,000 All In and Player 1 is sitting on a very large stack but still folds. Party Poker have all hand histories, who played against who etc, and their software and investigations will, I assure you, pick up on things - and do so regularly.

The 'call' on collusion or soft play lies 100% with Party Poker and we have no influence over their decisions whatsoever.

Happy playing folks smile
